IN-HOUSE EXPERIENCE AND RESOURCES
A network of approximately 80 Advanced Programmable Loop Controllers (many with custom Fortran-Like logic) with multiple peer to peer communication links as well as Fiber Optic communications back to redundant Operator Interface computers. The Operator Interface and loop controllers perform many start/stop operations (hence the Fortran) as well as traditional loop processing.
A variety of process instrumentation was supplied and commissioned in support of the measurement and control actions required. A network of 6 control processors with approximately 500 I/O points. One site communicates using radio, while the other processors communicate using RS-485. An operator Interface computer provides complete Operator control and monitoring of all processes.
A plant-wide network of 12 redundant control processors with approximately 1,000 I/O points, a Main Control Panel with recorders, panel meters, pilot lights and hand switches, an interface to accept alarms from remote locations, and dual Operator Interface computers allowing complete control of the facilities. A variety of process instrumentation was supplied and commissioned in support of the measurement and control actions required. A complete PLC plant control system designed to replace a costly to maintain DCS system. Approximately 1000 I/O points, a Mapboard with a custom PCS-designed interface, multiple Operator Interface computers, and extensive custom data reporting to supply regulatory data in the specific format required. A complete PLC plant control system plus 35 remote PLC stations each communicating via radio or telephone leased line. Approximately 2,000 I/O points, five Operator Interface computers, one projection system, extensive custom reporting, and a large quantity of process instrumentation. Complete control panel fabrication shop building a large variety of control panels including local control panels, main control panels, remote monitoring stations and any other integration need.
